Lewis Isaac,
Lewis Morgan "Lewie" Isaac, 73, of Eleanor, passed away Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014 at his home, following a long illness. He worked for 18 years at Pepsi Bottling in Nitro, three years for Coca Cola in Huntington and finished out his career as the owner of the local Mike-Sells distributorship. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eleanor and loved to hunt, fish and to spend time outdoors. He loved spending time with his wife and family at local restaurants eating together. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
Born Jan. 30, 1941 in Charleston, he was the son of the late William and Virginia Isaac. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Isaac. Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Patricia Isaac; daughters, Jackie (Richard) Thornton of Red House, Jenney Carpenter of Red House, Lisa Hamilton of Virginia and Jaci Johnson of Hurricane; brother, Thomas Isaac of Cross Lanes; grandchildren, Richard L. (Nicole) Carpenter, Brianna Luikart, Anthony (Jennifer) Carpenter, Brittney Moss and Brandy (Joseph) Skeen; and great-grandchildren, David, Michael, Brandon, Jaxon, Dillinger and Brayden. Lewie is also survived by his special feline friends, Zoey, Sassy and Tabby.
